PROJECT OVERVIEW

Proximus Global Group is a leading digital communications company, including BICS, which specializes in international connectivity and messaging services, and TeleSign, which provides digital identity verification and communication security solutions.
I contributed to a global Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) program spanning entities located in the United States, Colombia, Belgium, Serbia, Singapore, Brazil, China, and the United Kingdom.
My involvement began with BICS entities, where I supported hypercare activities across multiple legal entities following their go-live. During this period, the TeleSign implementation was initiated, and I joined the project from its early stages, contributing throughout the full lifecycle.
The program covered a phased rollout for over 20 BICS legal entities as well as an end-to-end implementation for TeleSign, ensuring alignment with global standards while addressing local statutory and tax requirements.

Role & Contributions

I worked as part of the finance team, contributing to multiple functional areas across the program.
For the TeleSign implementation, I was involved in the following core finance processes
Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
Record-to-Report (R2R)
Cost deferrals
Tax processes
During the hypercare phase for BICS entities, I worked across a broader scope of finance processes, providing support in a complex, multi-entity environment following go-live.
Additionally, I was responsible to the implementation of consolidation in D365FO across the Proximus Global Group, supporting both BICS and TeleSign sub-consolidations.

  • Supported finance workshops and process analysis with business stakeholders
  • Performed fit-to-standard / fit-gap assessments and solution design discussions
  • Configured D365FO across multiple entities
  • Participated in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including issue resolution
  • Performed both on-site and online workshops
  • Supported cutover preparation and multi-entity go-live activities
  • Delivered hypercare support for BICS and TeleSign entities
  • Ensured alignment between business needs and system capabilities within a global setup
